With three ultra marathons on my race calendar, I knew I needed strength training but quickly became bored with endless squats and lunges. My Fitness Geeny kept it fun and interesting, explaining what we were doing and why it was important. Geeny incorporated different exercises to work both fast twitch and slow twitch muscles. She helped strengthen my core and lower back to prevent injury, improve my running form and reduce fatigue. She pushed me and constantly corrected my form.
In addition to her bubbly personality, her knowledge of bio mechanics and exercise physiology is amazing, far beyond other personal trainers I have used. Her passion helped me race faster, and more importantly, recover faster.
Thanks to Geeny, I finished all three races injury free and set a PR in the 50 miler.
